I have been struggling with my weight, pretty much since I was 12 years old, playing the yo-yo game. I have tried just about EVERY diet, diet pill, cream, scheme or anything else that says it will help me lose weight. Atkins, South Beach, Cabage Soup, Alli, Phen Phen,Weight Watchers, Ab roller, Ab creams you name I have probably tried it. I am not saying these products/diets don't work, they were just not right for me.
My biggest and longest battle with my weight has been since I had my son 5 years ago. I was never obese, I was always right between normal and overweight on the BMI scale, until after I had my son. And even more recently my weight has been just rising. I had to put a stop to this. I asked my friend Meaghan to send me her diet plan from her nutritionist and I had been following, my own version of that for a few months. I had lost some weight, but it needed to be tightened up. Thats when I received a call from Meaghan, who was so excited, she found this diet. She says she's not a salesman, but let me tell you, within minutes she had me buying this book. I briefly skimmed through it and thought, I can do this. It was not that far off from what I am already doing. We decided to go on it together and help each other, with recipes and support.
Meghan has been very tight with her diet. I, on the other had, have cheated, but I have still lost about 7 lbs since I'ver started this program. There are some practices that Venice Fulton says to do, which I am very sceptical (the cold bath and blowing up balloon). So I decided to try and find some real people that have done his program, and I mean the full program, cold baths, coffee, balloons, everything. To my suprise, I have not found anyone. So, I presented the challenge to Meaghan and we decided to start a blog, and do everything the book outlines. We are not sponsored, just real girls looking for a real solution.
So here are my pictures. I have every intention of looking at these pictures in 6 weeks with pride because I am going to look and feel so much better (fingers crossed). Also I appologize for the focus, as my 5 year old son took these pictures.
